Hey, it’s Vicki with the Animal Explorers Club! Welcome to the new year of 2024. Our little zookeepers will be learning all about another selection of 12 animals this year! We have already selected the January Arctic Fox Box and February Emu Box - the rest are a surprise until the 27th of each month when we announce the next month’s animal! Let’s get this year started!
WELCOME TO WILD LEARNING IN 2024
We are getting Wild About Learning this coming year! That is our theme for the entire year. My grandkids helped me pick out some really awesome animals for 2024. We will also be offering another Habitat Activity Box once a quarter. Our next one will be available in February or March. In the meantime, you can always grab our Ocean Habitat Activity Box which was a surprise habitat box back in October of 2023. We have a few boxes left in the shop on our website. I wonder what the next Habitat Box will be - it’s a surprise too!
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE ZOOKEEPER BOX?
All of our Zookeeper Boxes include an Animal Fun Fact Card, My Animal Report, Activity Pack, Book, Puzzle, Plush Animal, and a Surprise Bag. You get a different animal each month if you are a monthly subscriber. We offer past boxes in the shop if we have leftover inventory of our subscription boxes. You can COLLECT THEM ALL or pick up a past box of an animal you may have missed if you just started your subscription or to just TRY US OUT before you subscribe!

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH THE ZOOKEEPER BOX?
By this time, our subscribers should have received their January Arctic Fox Boxes. We are currently offering our February Emu Boxes to new subscribers. Don’t wait to subscribe because they are going quickly - limited boxes available for new subscriptions!

MEET OUR ANIMAL FRIENDS
Here is one of the emus at our family zoo! We incubate and hand raise our emu chicks. They are actually laying their eggs right now - they lay in the winter time (see photo of chicks and eggs). Emu chicks make the cutest little whistling sound - even when they are getting ready to hatch out in the incubator! They are the second largest ratite (flightless bird) next to the ostrich.
