Hey, it’s Vicki with the Animal Explorers Club! The groundhog saw his shadow so hopefully it will be an early Spring this year! Actually, it’s been a pretty mild winter here in Southeast Missouri anyway. We’ve been working this winter on some new promotions coming your way!
INTRODUCING WILD WEDNESDAY ON FACEBOOK LIVE
We would like to introduce you to Wild Wednesday which started February 7th. Every Wednesday, we will be going LIVE on Facebook for Wild Wednesday. Our first one featured the unboxing of the February Emu Box. Besides the unboxing of our monthly box, we will also show you past boxes, other educational boxes in our shop, and visit with some “wild” animals from our zoo as well.
Stay tuned every Wednesday - almost every Wednesday - at around 6 pm on Facebook. If you miss the LIVE, you can always catch the playback available on our Facebook page. If the time is not going to be 6 pm, we will let you know through a Facebook post. We can’t wait to see you for Wild Wednesday!

MEET OUR ANIMAL FRIENDS
Meet Ilabird - the Cockatoo! She is our resident parrot that lives at the zoo! Ilabird will talk and interact with zoo guests and she loves for you to scratch under her wing. She is part of our live educational programs too! Watch for her on an upcoming Wild Wednesday in a few months! You will be able to meet her up close & personal!
